Directions

Artichoke SoupStrip artichoke leaves and save "heart."

Dice onion.

Place artichoke hearts in a blender, puree with chicken broth.

Place puree mix in saucepan with lemon juice Salt, pepper and spice to taste.

Heat to a boil. Stir in cream.

4 cups chicken broth

10 to 12 blanched almonds

2 tablespoon water

Pinch saffron

1/2 lemon, juiced
