Directions

Chick Pea SaladCover Ziyad Brand Dry Chick Peas with cold water and soak overnight.

Next day: Discard water, and cover chick peas with 2” of fresh water and bring to a boil.

When boiling, reduce to a simmer and cover the pot loosely with a lid.

Cook until tender, 45 minutes to an hour.

Cooking times may vary.

Sultan Extra Virgin Olive OilChick peas garbanzo beans

1 package Ziyad Dry Chick Peas (prepared as per package instructions)

½ c green onions, chopped

¼ c. finely chopped parsley

¼ c. Sultan Brand Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3 T. fresh lemon juice

3 T. red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste Mixed salad greens

Combine all ingredients except salad greens in a bowl.

Season with salt and pepper, chill for at least one hour.

Spoon over a bed of salad greens.
